Vacation Boarding and Scheduling Info
If you have plans to board your pet please don’t wait to get your pet’s vaccines updated. Memorial Day is at the end of this month (May 31st) and we know that is a very busy weekend for boarding facilities. If your pet needs vaccinated before Memorial Day weekend you need to call us today!
We are booking routine wellness care appointments 6 weeks out for in-office appointments and 8 weeks out for in-home appointments. We will do everything we can to get your pet vaccinated before the holiday, but we need you to call us now and not wait until it’s an ‘emergency’.
Animal Emergency Clinic may be understaffed on May 2, 15, 22, and 29. On those days they may need to refer cases to the University of Illinois in Champaign. If you have an emergency on one of those dates, please call the Animal Emergency Clinic at 309-828-772 to determine if you should go there or to the University.

Our mobile teams have been wearing masks, gowns, and gloves at every appointment to protect our clients and ourselves from covid. As of May 1st we are allowing our mobile team members that are at least 2 weeks past their final covid vaccine to stop wearing gowns and gloves. They will continue to wear masks.
If you would prefer our teams to wear a gown and gloves while in your home please just let us know!
We are also allowing more than one person to accompany their pet into the clinic as long as everybody is at least 2 weeks past their final covid vaccination and is wearing a mask.
SmartVet will be CLOSED Saturday, May 29th and Monday, May 31st in honor of Memorial Day.
COVID REMINDER
We are limiting appointments to one person per pet unless everyone is at least 2 weeks past their final covid vaccination.
We require everyone entering the clinic to wear a mask.
If you prefer curbside service we are happy to come out and get your pet. Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive.
